Bellarine Discovery Tours evolved from Professional Tour Guide Pauline Campbells experiences with the annual Cruise Ship Shore Excursion program. Pauline has been involved in leading coach tours to iconic tourist regions of Victoria since 2005.
During this time Walking Melbourne Tours was created to cater for tourists and locals to discover more about the City of Melbourne and its early history.
Since 2003 Pauline has escorted many visitors, social organisations, corporate team bonding groups and school students on specialised and entertaining walks discovering Melbourne's hidden gems.
Some memorable coach tours from Cruise ships at Station Pier have included the Phillip Island penguin parade,the Dandenong Ranges, Puffing Billy steam train, Sovereign Hill Ballarat, Healesville Sanctuary,The Great Ocean Road and the wineries of The Yarra Valley.
During 2010 a life decision was made to move to the seaside township of Portarlington on the northern tip of The Bellarine Peninsula, just over an hours drive from Melbourne.
The Yarra Valley has a very highly deserved profile in tourism circles however The Bellarine wineries are truly world class and many have the added attraction of magnificent coastal and bay views.
This was the inspiration. To bring the experience and knowledge gained from over ten years of guiding experience into a region which is starting to gain the reputation it now deserves.
Pauline has gained accreditation with G.O.A ( Guiding Organisations of Australia) and has had many years of involvement with the Professional Tour Guides Association of Australia ( P.T.G.A.A.)
Pauline's focus is now on bringing her own interpretation to the special region she now calls home. This is done with professionalism as always however the journey is also one filled with laughs and fun times for you, our very special guests.
This is much more than a wine tour.
